Brittany 2012 : Brittany 12_02 : Place Du Marché

Some signs of activity, at last. Construction of that church, Saint-Pierre-Et-Saint-Paul, was begun in 1755. The tower is built entirely of granite stonework. This shot was taken from in front of the town toilets. These were mixed toilets, with stalls and a urinal trough in the same room - to save space. Some of the local gals made comments about the lads lined up. One fellow knocked his knuckles along the metal trough and shouted, "Whoa, Nelly!"; at least, that's what I inferred from the Breton they were using.
