Brittany 2012 : Brittany 12_06 : Apple Wall

There was an oddity in that garden. Along a poured concrete wall, they had planted apple trees right up against the wall. The trees were then pruned like grape vines to grow outward from the wall. I presume that they did this to maximize the space in the garden. Vegetables grew below the apple branches. They had a regular apple tree growing on the other side of the path.
