I have long wanted to visit the fabulous cairn of Gavrinis. This is as close as I've gotten. The cairn is world famous for the carvings on the support stones along the 14 meter corridor leading to the inner chamber. I wanted to run my fingers along the stone, tracing the infinite spirals, to wonder at their eternal message. It was not to be - yet.

I felt the same about the Louvre. Every time I passed it I wanted to get out and go inside. It was not to be. Always a reason for hurrying by. Someday, maybe.
