I finally made it to the top of the ramparts. I wanted to take a long shot of the rampart walkway. First, an elderly couple took an eternity to descen (...)
A view of the harbour entrance and the sailing port from atop the ramparts.
The "Ville Close" of Concarneau, as seen from the furthest rampart.
Archeologists, historians and engineers excavated this part of the town to look at the state of the foundations. Patrice and Dad went down for a look. (...)
A very private beach, accessible by boat only - if you don't mind people looking down on you from the ramparts. Of course, at night, it is a different (...)

Even the gulls on the Port Louis breakwater were feeling lethargic. Gulls are usually just white blobs on a sunny day. Hard to photograph properly. T (...)
This heron was finally used to me being around so it ignored me.
Thursday, 9/13/12: It was another clear, bright and sunny day. Dad slept in. I went alone to get the paper. I took the cliff path and took this shot o (...)
Saturday saw the start of another fine, sunny day. Normally, we would be hanging out with Murielle. However, she was in Granny mode and taking care of (...)
