Another one of those shots from the hip. I was afraid to walk up to these hispanic lads and ask permission to take their picture. So I wimped out.
Some of the urban development isn't all ugly, This structure had quite colourfully siding and the shadows made for some cool lines.
You never know what image may be just around the corner, like this one was - literally.
I liked the way setting sunlight was being reflected off the Hull government building windows onto the puddles along these train tracks.
I had to lie on my back to get this shot. It's not easy taking pictures the way I do, you know.
Through the looking glass - this brand new university campus has some cool architecture.
It may be a brand-new campus but some students feel the decor needs more colour. They did a number on this electrical panel.

Sundown on the beach of west Hull looking towards Island Park. Spring was a long way off, let alone summer. Heck, Spring is still a long way off as of (...)
Okay, this is the last shot of this series. Thanks for visiting. Please post a comment - good, bad or indifferent - doesn't matter. Your reaction help (...)

Just up the street I found this redneck garage scene. It reminded me to tred carefully in that neighborhood.
This decorated veranda was interesting but the camera did not catch the sunlight twinkling in the lights as if they were on.
I bid the panther au revoir and sauntered back to St. Joseph. The sun caught this leftover sign from the recent Québec election. The PQ lost heavily (...)
On my way out I stopped again at the Univesité de Québec a Hull. Sadly the sun was shining too strongly and this is the only surviving image of that (...)
I've always been careful about staying on public property when taking my pictures. Sometimes, however, the shot calls out and you must go - so I sneak (...)
I also found it quite ironic that the next image to come my way was this dead end of painted blocks - symbolic of the colourful yet doomed Bloc Québe (...)
