Spring : Spring 11 : Windy Willows

It had been quite a breezy day so I decided to shoot this willow blowing in the wind. It is the last one left standing at this spot. The others were all smashed by the recent windstorm.

From the Indian to the willow, there was no place for met to comment. The pictures are all, as always, as usual, outstanding. No question about it. I particularly loved the warbler but also have a fond place in my heart for "forget me nots" those tiny blue flowers. My brother handed me a sprig just shortly before he died while we were walking on the Fundy shore.

Thank you for taking me with you on your morning walk. It means a lot to me to have the opportunity of the outing and enjoyment of your pictures.

Such a shame about the willows. I thought they would be the last to come down in a wind. But of course, if they have weak roots being too close to the water's edge, I guess that's Nature again for you.
