Spring : Spring 13 : Water Wings

He finally got the kite and began to swim for shore, towing the kite behind him. That took 15 minutes of slogging against the wind. By the time he got to shore, he was exhausted. Other wind surfers came to his aid to pull out his kite. He just lay in the water on his back, gulping for air, his body trembling with fatigue.

I hope he had a flotation device on him? People over-estimate their ability to "swim" or even just stay above water. There is an interesting article making its way around the interwebs titled, something like "drowning doesn't look like you think."
