The difference between a skidder and a bush hog is mainly one of size. The bush hog is a professional tool for the experienced woodsman. It never gets stuck, according to Paul. We went to work. Mike tossed the split wood into the cellar while I stacked it. Paul went and brought up four deadfall trees to the house. He then cut them up with his large chainsaw. He didn't bring up any more trees. The bush hog was stuck.

They are two different machines. a bush hog is a large mower which can cut brush & tiny trees & is towed by a tractor. A skidder is a huge articulated tractor that can move mountains & large trees.
