Winter : Winter 09 : Kraaack

It was still very cold on the river although the wind had died down. The river ice was working hard at making more ice. It groaned and strained and would suddenly unleash a tremendous KRAAACK. I looked arounf for Fred but it was only a new crack. This straining of expanding ice produces ice ridges which are nearly invisible when driving a SUV at speed. It is always fun to see one of these vehicles suddenly launch into the air and come down with a bone-crushing crunch. If this happens while spinning doughnuts then a nice flip is included for free.
