It was -21 C with windchill of -30C that day. No February thaw to melt the sculptures like in previous years.
Brrrr, it was cold but the Nikon D90 work perfectly. I didn't, having to take warm-up breaks at the nearby Lord Elgin Hotel.
The ice artists produced very complex sculptures and intricate designs.
It's all in the detail.
It was too cold to take notes on the sculpture info so I made up my own labels. Your mileage may vary.
